$5,000 Goal

This Giving Tuesday, your support will help many families affected by or at risk for HIV/AIDS face significant financial hardships, often struggling to meet basic needs like housing, utilities, educational supplies and holiday toys for their children. Our Sisters With A Voice (SWAV) program provides vital support to these families, offering essential resources and services to help them thrive. We annually support approximately 300 children by providing essential resources, ensuring they have the tools they need to succeed in school and experience the joy of the holiday season.

Many families impacted by HIV/AIDS face immense financial challenges, struggling to meet basic needs like housing, food, and healthcare. Our Sisters With A Voice (SWAV) program provides vital support to these families, offering essential resources and
services to help them thrive.

By donating to AID Atlanta on Georgia Gives Day, you'll help us:

  • Empower women living with or at risk of HIV
  • Support children impacted by HIV/AIDS
  • Advance prevention, education, treatment and retention to care.

Together, in our fight against HIV/AIDS, you can help power the AID Atlanta mission to end the HIV epidemic in Georgia as we know it, creating a healthier, more equitable future for all.

"I've been a member of AID Atlanta for approximately twenty-plus years. The SWAV program has encouraged my speaking voice to open up and engage with like-minded individuals who are striving for the best outcome concerning our well-being here at AID Atlanta. I hope that you use these informative avenues throughout your journey."

Doreliza, SWAV Member

"Growing up I had a cousin, Dale, who was known for being flamboyant and outrageously fabulous! I loved and appreciated him for his style and fearless attitude, which made it shocking to learn of his passing. This was the early 90s, and to me, his death was sudden, and no one would fully explain what happened. There were many whispered conversations and avoided eye contact at the mention of his name.

I eventually learned that this was my first personal encounter with the effects of HIV/AIDS. The memory of that experience has continuously fueled my drive to ensure that all those living with HIV/AIDS are treated with compassion, respect, and dignity. AID Atlanta gives me the opportunity to continue my advocacy even further and lend support where I can.”
