Chi-Village 2nd Annual Kwanzaa Celebration
$590 Raised
Chi-Village is raising $50,000 for the 2nd Annual Chi-Village Kwanzaa Celebration taking place on Thursday, December 26th, at the Dr. Conrad Worrill Track & Field Center.
Dr. Conrad Worrill played a pivotal role in transforming Kwanzaa into a widely celebrated holiday nationwide during the 90s. His efforts in organizing the largest Kwanzaa celebrations and educating the world about its cultural significance have left a lasting legacy.
The 2024 Kwanzaa Celebration is more than an event; it is a call to action. Dr. Conrad Worrill's championing of Black Liberation, cultural preservation, economic freedom, and the expansion of individual and collective consciousness among African people throughout the Diaspora are at the heart of this celebration. We are dedicated to upholding these principles, ensuring our community thrives and prospers.
By supporting our fundraiser, you are contributing to the production of our 2nd Annual Kwanzaa Celebration. Your support in every way is crucial in helping us reach our goal.
