Decatur Cooperative Ministry

The mission of Decatur Cooperative Ministry (DCM) is to help families facing homelessness settle into safe, stable homes and build healthy lives filled with peace, hope, and opportunity.

Our service to children and families adjusts to each family's distinct needs. DCM's programs (homelessness prevention, emergency shelter, transitional housing, and rapid rehousing) may offer temporary financial assistance, along with relational case management and other supportive services, to help ensure that families not only overcome their current housing crisis but also have the tools they need to ensure long-term housing stability. 

Each year, DCM serves over 1,000 children, men, and women in DeKalb County who need a hand-up to stability from a temporary financial crisis.
