Gracious Hands Transitional House

Gracious Hands is a Transitional House for Homeless women and children. Our Mission is to '' LOVE OUR WOMEN AND CHILDREN BACK TO LIFE''. In our short nine years of operation we have have served over 400 and children back to self sufficient. When a family steps foot inside of Gracious hands doors they have encounter a lot of Trauma. In light of that trauma we provide services such as Life couching, Pushing through the pain, Home ownership, Credit Counseling and most importantly Therapy. These Programs have had a significance impact on the women. Now only do the women benefit from these programs but the children also benefit. They engage is services as Art Therapy and Music Therapy. We have implemented a new program call ABLE which stands for ALL BOYS OMIT LIGHT. This program helps our young men reach their full ability.  Our organization is one of the few organization that take adolescent from newborn to the age of 18. Gracious Hands has recently open a free daycare for our women to utilize. while the are at work.

Gracious Hands has obtained over three houses of our 9 years in service.  We are confident that we can obtained more transitional houses for our community .We are proud to say we a debt free organization. In Mecklenburg County their are over 1,000 Women And Children experiencing homelessness in 2024. Gracious Hands is trying to change that one family at a time.
