Ivy Community Charities of Prince George's County

Just imagine a homey, safe atmosphere for children in need of mentoring, tutoring and other services. That is the atmosphere of the Ivy Youth and Family Center! The underserved children and parents of Prince George's County can feel safe and supported at the IYFC while learning to cook healthy meals, having equal access to the internet, planning for college and building confidence for future success.

The Ivy Youth and Family Center has multipurpose space where comprehensive and systemic programs of services are provided to improve the academic, health, cultural, and socio-economic status of youth and families residing in Prince George’s County, Maryland. The Center is financed and operated by funds received from public and private sources, by gifts from individuals and groups, by fundraising activities, grants, in-kind services and by members of The Iota Gamma Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
